Halls Gap Sporting Community Access Project

This project involves the transformation of the former Halls Gap tennis courts into a multipurpose basketball, netball and tennis space. This would include installing 2 new basketball rings and netball rings, restoring the existing tennis court and providing line markings for tennis, basketball and netball.

Previously this facility was for tennis only and was a locked space. The project will provide an open to the public multipurpose sport and recreation facility and meeting space for residents and visitors alike to enjoy both casual and competitive sports. Provide a local training and coaching venue for sporting teams competing in neighbouring towns (with a view to improving participation levels) and at the same time provide enhanced physical education opportunities for children at the adjacent primary school.
