Goonawarra and Rolling Meadows Share the Love Festival

This is a local community event driven by the people who live and work in Goonawarra & Rolling Meadows, Sunbury.
Throughout the day, we will celebrate everything local such as residents, locally owned businesses, independent artists, our diverse cultures and food.
We want to enhance our community and become a more inclusive community.
Inclusion happens when we appreciate and value human differences by creating an atmosphere that promotes a sense of belonging where everyone feels respected and valued for their uniqueness.
Within an inclusive environment each person is recognized and developed, and their skills are routinely utilised via this festival.

The GRM Share The Love festival is organised in order to answer the specific needs of the GRM community and at the same time to offer entertainment. This event has the power to offer people a feeling of social, geographical, cultural, etc. belonging. This part of Sunbury has had a long standing stigma as being a low socio-economic area and the public housing estate. With recent growth and as new families are moving in the festival aims to support residents to come together, meet their neighbours, celebrate their diversity and support each other and the local businesses.
