Physical activity promotes mental wellbeing and physical health. Team sports develop leadership skills. Girls are meeting a ‘grass ceiling’. A lack of playing fields, toilets and change rooms is stopping their participation in physical activity. An all-weather, accessible sport facility will increase the opportunities for the school and wider community to get active. The running track will be part of a further upgrade of facilities to include a soccer pitch. It will be the place for programs and recreation activities that support those traditionally excluded from organised sport, especially girls, older women and marginalised community members.

The outdoor sport and recreation facilities at this school are well-below the standard of other schools in the area. Girls are missing out. School-based wellbeing and sport programs will be extended to the wider community such as the mental health focused Color Run, teaching sport skills to primary age children and assisting disadvantaged people to participate in sport. It will benefit students, the school community and wider community.
An under-utilised space that is available to promote good health and is a place of gathering and engagement will contribute to a strong, healthy and connected community.

The students would benefit greatly from this project and it will increase the scope of sports the PE staff can teach.

Great school but sadly lacking government funding of any kind. This unique school with an enthusiastic sporting staff will make fantastic use of this facility. Definitely worth your support.

This large space is very under-utilised. If devepoled it would be a wonderful asset to the school

Compared to other well funded schools in the area, the school is under developed. Please show your support.

In the current climate of promoting girls participation in sports and developing healthy life habits this project is a no-brainier. Come on - get on board and get it done.

The girls at the school are in desperate need of new sporting and athletic facilities given that the current facilities are well-below the standard, especially compared to other schools in the area.

The school presently lacks these basic athletic facilities ... necessary for healthy bodies and minds.

This project is absolutely necessary for all of the girls that attend this school. It is an investment in the current students and the future students of the school.

Great idea, this public school does not yet have adequate facilities to promote health, wellbeing and enable sporting prowess.
