Get connected! Free computer help and presentations for seniors

This project will allow seniors to join free technology presentations hosted by the Chelsea PC Support Group! Presentations will be delivered at Longbeach PLACE, which will receive audio-visual equipment, to help seniors see and hear presentations. Seniors will be able to watch experienced teachers demonstrate skills like online banking and Skype and receive answers to their OWN technology questions. The presentations will also be aired live online for seniors to join in from home and recorded for seniors to rewatch and learn at their own pace. For seniors who attend presentations in person, games and prizes will keep things fun!

The Chelsea PC Support Group has provided free computer help and presentations for seniors for over 15 years. We’ve helped hundreds of seniors get online, pay bills, communicate with friends and family, and much more. Many seniors find it difficult to attend presentations in-person due to ill health and limited mobility, and also have trouble seeing and hearing the presentations. Installing audio/video equipment and airing our presentations live online would make it much easier for them to participate. Seniors will be able to re-watch presentations to learn more. All members of the community will have access to our presentations.
