Four Seasons Music Festival of Fine Music

The 4 Seasons Music Festival concept is a series of weekend concerts of fine music and song to acknowledge and celebrate seasons in central Victoria. The proposal for funding requests resources to specifically deliver events in Clunes and Creswick in 2019, with the first in late February through to October The festival builds on the successful Organs of the Ballarat Goldfields Festival and will strategically link with the Clunes Booktown weekend. The event will feature young and emerging artists, and showcase local and nationally renowned performers.

The aim of the festival is to provide forums, public experiences and publicity for young and emerging artists, and to showcase local and nationally renowned performers. The event provides a direct local community benefit by providing accessible musical experiences in rural community venues. It will also include participation by multicultural groups and people living on the margins.

The festival actively encourages local people to participate in significant cultural events held locally. It also potentially increases visitation and investment from the outside area, such as extra business for local retailers, and use of accommodation by visitors.
