Football for the Community

The Newcomb Power Football Club works tirelessly to make sure we provide an affordable program and gear required to play the great game of Aussie Rules Football. Over the last 6 years every player has received free socks, shorts hoodie and training top. However, even with all of the work we have undertaken, we still have kids miss out as mum and dad cannot afford it. This project will provide all new gear for all Junior Members of the club allowing us to provide 50 scholarships across the 5 schools for boys and girls to play free of charge.

The 3219 area is a low socio-economic area which has many kids not participate in sport due to mum and/or dad not being able to afford the fees or buy the gear required to play. We have spent the past 6 years working in the community promoting Aussie Rules Football by including clinics at five local primary schools, giving every kid a go. We want to make this program inclusive for everyone.
