Flemington Kensington Community Theatre Equipment

The Flemington Theatre Company is producing its fourth annual production in 2018 as part of the Flem-Ken Festival of Arts and Ideas. Flemington and Kensington lack a community performance space with theatre quality sound, lights, seating and flooring. This project is focused on acquiring equipment to temporarily fit out local spaces for community performances. While the FTC will store the equipment, it will be available for use by community members for musical, theatrical and other performances and events.

Flem/Ken residents love cultural events and have loads of local talent. The absence of a well appointed community space for the creation and performance of artistic works limits the ways in which our community can create and enjoy dance, theatre, music and more. One day, hopefully, we will have a space specially fitted out for performances and rehearsals in our 'hood. Until then, we're looking to acquire equipment that can enhance existing spaces: lighting, sound equipment, tiered seating, stage boxes. Our community loves the Arts and this project will make the Flem/Ken Arts scene come alive.
