Creating a dedicated space where all community members, young, old, new immigrants and families can come together to learn and develop their skills using the internet, new technology, subscription learning services and alike to the technology hub that they would not otherwise have access too. A computer lab available to the community with access to workshops on topics of interest, levelled programs and programs aimed at the students to develop their skills and knowledge in technology, the importance of it and how to use it safely. Access to such a space enhances their learning whilst creating relationships with others.

The Ferrars Street Education and Community Facility is a community integrated site, consisting of a primary school, kindergarten, Maternal & Child Health, Allied Health Services and hosts playgroups, netball and basketball programs and other local community programs. The establishment of such a space for our community would build on this great integrated site and give people a place to learn and develop life skills in technology, especially given many within the community are new to Australia, from non-English speaking backgrounds, from disadvantaged backgrounds or are aged 3-12 years and learning the importance of technology at school.
