Enhanced Community Hub facilities for Junior Sports Development at Lancaster

Our project is to: upgrade and resurface the tennis precinct; resurface the oval; upgrade the plumbing; redo the cricket pitch; and improve and add to shed and shelter facilities. To enable local Junior Sporting Clubs and Community members a safe sporting hub that can be accessed all year round, for casual or sporting competition. Local sporting groups will be able to use this hub for junior sport development. Some of these key groups will be local junior cricket, hot shots tennis, basketball, netball; particularly net set go, sporting school's program, auskick, junior football and soccer.

The hub will promote healthy lifestyle/well being, pathways and sporting opportunities for children with disability/special needs (will provide easy access for all), cement inter-school relationships, develop pathways from junior to senior footy/ netball/ basketball/ cricket/ tennis/soccer.
Lancaster PS wants to drive opportunities for grassroots sports activities in the town – ensuring that community members(young and old) have access to an abundance of choice for long term health and well being without the need to travel beyond the township. Local infrastructure for local people! This sporting/community hub will help create a myriad of opportunities.
