Energy Saving Initiative at Dandenong Oasis Pool

In the current energy crisis, it is imperative that large energy consuming centres such as Dandenong Oasis are choosing sustainable energy generating solutions and energy conservation equipment wisely.

Conserving energy can often be a much easier process than generating it, and often, pool covers are the most cost-effective investment an aquatic centre can make to save energy.

It has been indicated that this pool blanket project would provide up to 18% savings in gas energy used at the centre and would significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the facility.

Carbon emissions are the largest contributor to air pollution, which is suffocating our environment. It is therefore critical that businesses and individuals start to implement effective carbon management strategies, so that we can reduce our negative impact and help sustain the environment for future generations.
