Helping skilled migrant women to build the confidence and skills in establishing careers appropriate to their skills and expertise and empower them to become leaders in their field. Building their financial literacy and teaching them financial management and superannuation to improve gender equality. Create a community of peer support on ongoing basis. These women will have access through workshops, masterclasses, group mentoring, focus groups and hearing inspirational stories from other successful migrant women. We will have industry speakers in leadership, personal branding, recruitment, financial management and many others. Printed materials, notebooks and books will be given with relevant content.
Research shows that women with diverse background have double jeopardy in getting jobs in their field. Our program will help them learn the process, give them tools to build the confidence and skills to enable them to step up in their jobs and communities. We know that many skilled migrant women work in jobs that are well below their capabilities as they don't have help in reaching jobs that they are qualified for nor do they understand financial literacy. They also need guidance in embracing the Australian culture, mindset and community peer support.

I am very pleased that there are projects like this that assist women in employment. There is not much assistance for migrant women in this country, its good to see someone making a change. Good Luck!
