Our program is aimed at young people aged 12-18. The program focuses on encouraging and equipping young people to take up roles in our community, so to participate in shaping the future of our society. It is a 3-part program including two retreat weekends and one outing:
- Working on self-confidence and self-esteem as foundation for building confident young people that wish to contribute to our society.
- Development of leadership skills such as communication, responsibility, decision making, commitment and being an inclusive leader.
- Educate participants on how to engage with community organisations including outings (visit Council meeting).

Young people are disengaged and feel left out. They often feel powerless and despairing, rather than fighting to be heard. They lack practical skills on how to engage in our community and how to bring on positive change. Education regarding these practical skills as well as personal skills such as confidence and leadership are necessary. This together with education about the community landscape will give young people tools to re-connect with our community and bring in ideas. This program shows participants the way forward, encourages them to take up roles in our community and motivates them to make an impact.
