An electronic scoreboard would absolutely add to the brilliant facilities and atmosphere at the Don Rd Sporting Complex. It would ensure we continue to get the VFL/TAC games and the traffic increase for local businesses that come with it. It may even help us earn the right to host an AFL community match which would be huge for local businesses.

Installing an electronic scoreboard will enhance the community complex for sporting use. The local Senior and Junior Football Clubs will be able to use the scoreboard which will assist their volunteers. The existing scoreboard has been in use since 1985 and needs to be upgraded The electronic scoreboard will provide the necessary requirements for the Senior Club to conduct finals, to hold TAC and VFL games. It will assist both male and female football teams. Having TAC and VFL games, male and female, will help to promote the sport in our community.
Having an electronic scored board will bring the sporting complex in line with other AFL Victoria grounds which will encourage the facilities to be used by all levels of AFL Victoria competition, especially local teams both male and female. It will help the supporters and team staff to be able to read the score easily from any area of the oval. Having TAC and VFL games held at the Complex will also help the local businesses with tourism

Would love to see the afl come and use our ground instead of going to Wangaratta or other grounds for their practice matches. Would be great to have any club to play. Have had Essendon and collingwood come and they loved our ground!!

This ground and club is a fantastic hub for the community and the scoreboard needs updating to ensure the facilities keep pace with other local football venues, it also helps the volunteers by providing one less/easier job to do.
