Electrical Upgrades Wimmera Field Days & Events centre site

The Wimmera Machinery Field Days site and Events Centre has over 260 'caravan park style' power heads providing mostly plug in 10 amp power throughout the site. Close to 100 would be 40+ years old with many in varying states of damage and disrepair . Many are unsafe and not suitable for use. Due to changes in the Field Days layout for machinery display the vast majority are in the wrong locations and at the front of sites when they should be at the rear for safety reasons. There is also a new and larger demand for 20amp outlets

The site has hosted and acted as the camp site for the last two Australian Junior motocross events held in Horsham and will also act as the camp site for the World Junior motocross to be held in Horsham in 2018. There is also some expressions of interest lodged for two major caravan/motorhome rallies in the near future. New modern powerheads will see the site be able to confidently continue to attract these gatherings and provide safe and secure power throughout the site. Relocation works will see the Field Days provide safer sites for exhibitors and secure power supply
