The Scooter Factory have developed an off-road vehicle specifically for use by physically disabled members of our community. The mojo is a stable vehicle, with manual hand controls and wide tyres for stability. The vehicle is easy to get in and out of and control. The Scooter Factory in conjunction with Redwood Community Centre would like to provide access to these vehicles to disabled community members to access and enjoy the beautiful parks and bush land in the greater Warburton area independently.
A video of the Mojo in use can be found at https://vimeo.com/119054556.
The Mojo is a vehicle designed and built by the Scooter Factory in the local area, specifically for use by disabled community members wanting to remain active and independently access parks and bush land tracks.
Mojos would be available from the Redwood Community Centre and used in the grounds surrounding the centre or on the nearby tracks. Employment opportunities for 2 part time staff members employed specifically for this project will provide training, safety information and support to users of the Mojo as well as provide the administrative support required eg bookings and maintenance and develop relationships with key disability

Terrific project! Awesome looking design - well done!
What a great project. Will really help disabled people enjoy life.
This machine will benefit all disabled people no matter where they live.
How amazing to have the independence to take yourself out on the trail.
To experience the freedom of able bodied people, WOW 😲
Its like an ATV for disabled people. What an awesome initiative and design. We need to see these on the Warburton Rail Trail. Haven't seen anything look so capable and cool looking!
Great idea to get disabled people outdoors 👌🏻
Awesome
Cool project that helps people experience the outdoors who normally wouldn't have access.

Would be fantastic to have a number of Mojo's for hire at the start of the rail trail "bike track" in Warburton. There are many families who currently do not enjoy this public facility due to their disabled family member not being able to participate. Providing them with access to a Mojo will open up their world and allow them to enjoy what we take for granted.
