Dimboola Recreation Reserve - Community Multi Use Facility

This project will see the construction of a multi-use hard stand within the Dimboola Recreation Reserve that will be utilised by various organisations for numerous events and activities including;
As a warm up area by Dimboola and visiting netball teams prior to matches commencing. At present both teams are forced to warm up on the Recreation Reserve through road.
As the main pit stop area during Human Powered Vehicle races, exhibitions and practice. These HPV events use the road as the race track.
By the Dimboola A&P Society for static displays and exhibitions as part of the annual Agricultural Show.

The hard stand area will be an asset to the broader Dimboola and regional community as it will provide additional infrastructure within the Dimboola Recreation Reserve, considered as one of the best within the region.
It will significantly improve the safety of netball players as it will be used as their warm up area prior to matches. Currently they are forced to warm up on the main through road.
The Dimboola Recreation Reserve is considered a perfect location for Human Powered Vehicle races. Increased use from these events will provide an economic boost to Dimboola's businesses and community organisations
