Dartmouth Play Space

Let’s replace the tired and deteriorated Dartmouth playground (on private land) with a new adventure play space for our community’s children and visitors to the region. The new play space, will be installed on public land, be safe, and help beautify a key town location. Equipment will cater for children of various ages.

It will include:
• Spinning basket swing
• strap and toddler swing
• monkey bars
• balance beam and stepping logs/stones
• tower
• spider net
• rock wall
• rope wall
• 2 person rocker
• spiral slide

Softfall and landscaping will complete the project.

The new play space will benefit local families in many ways:
• Parent groups will have a safe and suitable area to meet up; somewhere where they can chat whilst their children play.
• The space will assist encourage young families stay, and new families invest in the region.
• The space will encourage children to get outdoors and be active – promoting good mental and physical health.
• The space will encourage visitation to the town, and extend length of stay.
