Cultural Food Festival

Food is a great ice breaker and a wonderful way to bring the community together. We would love to host a cultural food festival open to all community members to celebrate the diversity of our unique municipality. Come along and enjoy demonstrations from cooking celebrities, sample a variety of cuisines from around the world, enjoy an atmosphere of fun filled activities including jumping castles, farm animals, fairy floss, dance to the music, face painting and much more.

Social isolation is becoming more prevalent in our community. In our busy lifestyles we no longer have time to get to know our neighbour or our surrounding community. Food brings people together. It encourages people to talk, share, listen, relax and just have fun. A cultural food festival connects all ages, cultures, backgrounds and abilities within the local community. A connected community is a healthy community.
