Raeburn Reserve is long overdue for upgrades to the ground infrastructure to meet the needs of our growing community and deliver inclusive football, cricket and netball for both juniors and seniors, female and male. The cricket nets have aged and need upgrading. In their current state, our senior players cannot train using these nets and there are safety issues that could effect junior training. New nets are essential for a sustainable future at the club.
Raeburn Reserve is a community place - it attracts families at all stages of life, dog walkers, joggers, and school students who play at the park and oval at lunch and on sports days. Over 500 children and adults play sport at our club and the number is growing. The proposed upgrade will ensure; the facilities remain safe for community, assist sustainability, build strong female programs in cricket and football, enable us to establish a netball department, overall provide more opportunities for all community members to get active in Moreland. Pascoe Vale is a country community in the City.

Yeap! Long time overdue! Let’s not loose local turf cricket!
These nets are long overdue
Definitely time for something to be done about these nets, so dilapidated kids don't even train there anymore
Well overdue
Go Pacco. These nets are desperately needed to ensure that children in the local community can travel to a local facility that is safe and up to date. Travelling three kilometres or more to train at other clubs’ facilities is disengaging for the local community, bad for the environment and local traffic, and against the objective of allowing locals, especially children and teens to be active locally. These sporting facilities are part of the fabric of the Pascoe Vale community and crucial to keeping kids active.

Pascoe Vale Sport Club has been there for my family to enjoy and it would be great to have these improvements. As the club grows so does the community spirit!
