Courses for the next generation of Tinkerers and Builders

The general public is invited to join us for a fun hands-on specialist education series on topics such as; electronics, robots, designing circuit boards, learning how to design objects and build them using laser cutters, 3D printers, CnC Mills and Electronic assembly tools.

The series will occur monthly with each topic extending over three sessions to consolidate and apply new skills. This exciting opportunity would normally be inaccessible to most due to the complexity and skills required, but it's made accessible through the use of the Connected Community Hackerspace workshop and presenters.

Our courses aim to teach a wide variety of practical STEM skill-based applications in current and emerging technologies.
The courses will provide participants with the ability to foster their own creativity in a safe environment where they will be paired with expert mentors. This is a unique opportunity for the local community as it will provide ample access for participants to upskill in STEM and maker fields, while broadening their potential employability. Participants will have access to key tools such as laser cutters and 3D printers, while learning programming skills and electrical circuitry to foster their own innovations.
