Construction of an undercover area for spectators

Awesome community project. Weather is always so unpredictable in the southwest and this project would be utilized by so many various Tyrendarra Community groups all year round. This would also help the area grow having such a fantastic asset and create extra events with this grant.

As a club the Darras are an exception to the rule. With no township to speak of, the community is something to behold. Whether it is the mighty Football/Netball club who have been regular Grand Finalists in Football and Netball for decades, or the Tyrendarra Cricket Club which again is a regular Premiership contender in the PDCA, the Tennis Club which has great participation numbers and years of success. Add to that the Tyrendarra Rural Show, which continues to thrive year in year out.
The addition of an undercover area would add to to the infrastructure of the community hub, and provide a viewing area for all of the sporting and recreation clubs that utilise the Tyrendarra Recreation Reserve.
The Tyrendarra community has raised many funds to improve their facilities over the years, but there has to come a tipping point where extra financial support is needed; and it is needed now..

This is my local recreation reserve, the hub of my community! This shelter would benefit all our sporting clubs and our local annual show as well!

The Tyrendarra Show is one of the closest to our community and is a great event. What the venue currently lacks is sheltered seating to watch arena events. Of course, this structure would be a valuable addition during the football season.

A fantastic initiative that would benefit the community in many ways for many years to come.

Required Desperately, especially for winter sport.

Mutch needed, very windy area and wet in winter also be good for local show and cricket in summer

Will be used all year round for watching sport as well as a great area for families to watch events on show day .
