The aim is to provide a structured 8-week sports program that allows for at-risk youth to participate in a sporting event with life skill workshops and community meals supported by community volunteers. The event is a sign in/sign out program. In kind services such as administration, bus transport home and professional counsellors will be provided by our partners in the program - Knox City Council, Headspace, Knox Basketball Association.

The program ensures a safe place for young people to participate in sports, to meet others of a similar age, to learn about team work and respect, and to interact with others from the community. This type of program has been found to build self esteem and respect, and creates the opportunity to meet people from other walks of life and age groups.
