Composing Moreland involves educating and resourcing residents in Moreland about composting. There will be two components of the program: awareness and resourcing. In creating awareness brochure, leaflet and booklet on composting will be dropped in the letterboxes. Also, two workshops on composting will be organized at community centers in Moreland area. In resourcing, residents who will be attending the workshops will be provided with easy DIY compost bins. For workshops, the number will be limited to 50 residents who will express their interest by contacting us.

Hi Muhammed, great initiative. We also have community composting at Fawkner Food Bowls on Lorne St. Come and visit us any Sunday 10-1pm and we'll walk you through our current systems and talk compost!

I am making compost at my backyard for last 5 years. I read and watched lot of videos on how to make compost. However, I could not make it right for first several times. But I did not leave my hope and kept trying. Now I can make very high-quality compost which I think is much better than the one people usually by from supermarket.
"Composting Moreland" is an amazing idea. This will surely enable people increasing their awareness, encouragement and literacy of composting and gardening in Moreland and wider Melbourne.
