Our Community Centre is four years old and incorporates a CFA fire station, infant welfare which includes a consulting room, large air-conditioned room that has replaced our ageing public hall, with disable access and our local bowling club. We require funding to complete this wonderful multi-purpose centre. We need a permanent gas BBQ to cater for large community functions, shade sails to protect ourselves from the sun around the rear access areas of the centre and to complete the landscaping around the building and BBQ area. These areas will be open to the community at any time.

This project will benefit our entire community, private groups, the local CFA who share part of this building, the local bowling club and any group of residents that have the need for BBQ catering.

What a great complex for the whole area surrounding Berriwillock as well. Good luck with the funding and the completion of a great project.

As the main hub of the town for the CFA, parties and functions as well as lawn bowls it would be great to see the entire place/project finished off for the community.

Adding to his comments, it would also be a bonus to pickup the adjoining property of 67 Taverner Street to add more off street parking and a children’s playground area !!

Garry has nailed it with what our community requires to complete our Community Centre
