We are getting feedback from people that like the idea that CVL is a VICTORIAN WIDE community project and not just centred on Mount Waverley. If you can access the Internet then you can contribute and use the system. We hope to work with as many existing local community groups as possible. Let's share our books in a responsible manner! Specialist groups can offer their specific category of books to members and other. School books can be loaned/sold/donated.

Community members enter their book ISDN details (or take a photo using a smart phone app which recognises the title) into the online Community Virtual Library (CVL) system and then choose to loan or donate each book. Members may borrow or keep accordingly.
Community members will have greater access to reading material and a greater efficiency of books can be achieved by increasing the number of readers per book.
Landfill is reduced because books are being recycled through the community.
