The Pony Club needs to replace the existing infrastructure (due to white ant damage) with a safe and useable amenities block for the Club and their partners. Since the formation of Donald Pony Club in 1956, the Club has built a number of key partnerships with other sporting organisations and community groups who also use their facility. User groups will have unrestricted access to these facilities for interclub rallies and zone events. It will provide a meeting place for local groups and organisations and an outdoor education area for local schools and young community groups.

The ‘Community Venue for Donald Pony Club & Friends’ project would provide a safe and adequate venue for current user groups and for any future user groups. It will help strengthen and build upon current and future partnerships. With the location of the new facility in a unique bush setting, it will provide an outdoor education area with a venue for overnight camps that schools, scouts/guides and young community groups can use. Subsequently promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. The infrastructure will provide a meeting place for user groups that do not have their own designated venue.

Good luck to the members of Donald pony club . They do an amazing job fulfilling the pony club associations aims and objectives which are :
▪ To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all approved types of sport connected with
horse riding.
▪ To provide instruction in horsemanship, riding and the proper care of horses.
▪ To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength
of character and self-discipline
