This project will fund an exciting range of new toys, games and puzzles that all children, parents and carers in our community will have access to at our regular stay and play sessions. Children learn through play and providing new play materials every week or two will stimulate their social, physical and cognitive development. These free sessions will be run throughout the year including during school holidays so parents and carers have an economically accessible option to help entertain their kids.
Children need opportunities for unstructured play where they can to explore, experiment and learn in a secure and stimulating environment. Our project will welcome all local children to benefit from such opportunities while also supporting families and carers in their parenting, helping to strengthen community networks and combating social isolation.

I bring my two grandchildren on separate days to the Collingwood Toy Library. It is a special visit we alone share, and the excitement each fortnight is rewarded with the wide variety of toys, games and experiences on offer. A most valuable resource deserving of support.
