Community Recreation Half Courts

Two recreational half courts located at the University High School that are accessible via Royal Pde after school hours for the community to access. The goals will be reversible to allow users to choose to play basketball and netball with recreational seating and facilities.

In the CBD and Parkville there are not many basketball courts that are freely accessible to the local community. The proposed basketball courts would be half-courts so that they are not designed for competition but for recreational use. Being located at the school, they will accommodate users of all abilities and be wheelchair accessible.
