Community Playground

The current playground equipment at the community house has been deemed unsafe to use as it sways badly when children use it and the council and community house have had to lock it off from use. We would like to replace this equipment to ensure it is more appropriate to use and will stand the test of time into the future. We have playgroup children, youth group children, local community children and our 6-10 year old program children not able to access this playground and it is the only local play equipment in the area within 20 km

This playgroup was previously regularly used by all children in the area and would give children a place to play outside again.
This is the only play equipment available at this end of town within walking distance for local children and their families.
It means parents must drive up to the other end of Flowerdale or to a neighboring town to take their children to the park.
Which limits the potential for a child to walk to the park with friends or access a park if their parent does not drive or have petrol, as is the case regularly.
