Community Playground at The Salvation Army Craigieburn

It’s time for a playground at the Salvos! The Salvation Army provides many services to the local community including food vouchers and hampers, financial management, free community lunches and children’s programs. A community centre has been birthed with disability groups using our facilities, (Noah’s Ark, BDS and Breakthru) and other community groups. A community playground will be the centre piece of activity. With a new community café also in the pipeline, the playground will be a safe, exciting, inclusive and accessible space for families to gather.

Help us help the community! By creating a place of belonging and a vibrant hub of activity, we can further connect with our community, especially those who are doing it tough. The playground at The Salvation Army Craigieburn would become the centre point of connection, as we continue to serve over 5,000 meals annually and distribute over $100,000 of welfare support to needy families with over 60 volunteers. We never underestimate the significance of creating a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere that includes families of all cultures, young children and our friends with disabilities.
