Community playground

This playground will service the broader community of Churchill. The majority of the users will be from the families of those who are members of the Churchill Football Netball Club, however given our venue and space is used by a large volume of other community organisations, I would imagine they will get good use of the equipment also. Other users include the local car club, local schools, local church groups, Relay For Life and the local Active Kids group. The general public always have access to our venue, so anyone can use the grounds and equipment at any time.

More families and mums will be encouraged to return to participating in organised sports knowing there is a space for their children to play safely, away from traffic, and to be utilised year round, whether part of an organised activity or just a casual user of the facility.
As a multi use facility with a range of users we are aware of our social impacts and inclusion of all users and want to provide a designated playground area that has equipment for those with all abilities and from all walks of life.
