Community Exhibition (10 artists) addressing "Fear As A Tool"

The purpose of this exhibition is to challenge common fears. Each artist involved will produce work that will question or even help the viewer overcome fear. 'Fear As A Tool' will showcase a diverse mix of artists and mediums including sculpture, interactive digital art, live art and projections . This exhibition will also to lend a hand to incredibly talented yet underfunded artists who cannot afford to exhibit their own work. Class and socio-economic-status DO play a role in WHO exhibits in this city and I want to address that.

The intention of this exhibition isn't only to give a voice to talented local artists and bring them together but to fight for equity and against the use of fear in modern media and politics.

Fear is the conceptual base for this exhibition as it gives the artist a chance to help the viewer overcome a fear of their own, and ofcourse as we all have our own - realistic and unrealistic. In a time where truth is more interpretable than ever, we need some honesty.
