Community Exercise Stations

The fitness trail will be situated adjacent to the walking track that ambles through the Nowa Nowa Community Parkland/Community open space and includes a combination of moving and static stainless steel apparatus to suit everyone, from High Intensity Interval Training enthusiasts to the older users that want to focus on flexibility or mobility.
Flexi-Pave will be used as the surface of the exercise station; it is a heavy duty low impact surface made from recycled tires and is the definition of environmentally friendly. The Flexi-Pave surface will be edged by cement to blend in with the walking track.

A sedentary lifestyle is becoming more common within communities mainly due to the increased use of technological devices. By providing exercise options that are environmentally friendly, pleasing to the eye, challenging, inviting and fun to use we believe we are contributing to the health and well being of the community of Nowa Nowa.
The planned exercise stations are located alongside the main walking track that meanders through the community open space providing a relaxing atmosphere for community members of all ages to have a go.
