Community Climbing / Bouldering Structure

An outdoor climbing structure, accessible to everyone. The structure will be located in Ballarat and will be designed for free climbing (bouldering), no harness required.

The structure will cater to beginner climbers as well as expert climbers with a range of routes available to suit all levels in-between.

The structure will be large enough for multiple people to climb at any one time, as we are looking to create a sociable environment as well as recreational.

Climbing is fun and packed with health benefits. It is both physically and mentally challenging while allowing the participant to go at their own pace.

We hope to encourage people of all ages and skill level to give climbing a go. In doing so we offer our community an alternative to a screen, a platform to improve physical and mental health, a reduction in stress levels, a community of likeminded people and perhaps a sparked interest in climbing in nature. Our youth in particular will benefit from becoming engrossed in an activity that doesn't involve a screen.
