Community Branch

The app was developed from my own experience being a new resident to town.
Community Branch is a interactive app which offers free resources throughout the community, connecting people to non- for-profit organisations, community groups, local events along with local trades and services. It is difficult to locate self-help community groups as many are unable to afford to advertise. My app enables them to register for free and enables any community member to find them simply and quickly. A demonstration of the app has been developed but I need funding to finalise the concept.

There is a major community need for my app so that local self-help groups can register for free and have their details displayed in a friendly format that's easy to follow. Many self-help groups need support to be found. My developer and I have a prototype operating, but require funding to fully develop the concept and allow users to download it from Apple and Google. Larger charities will be able to advertise on the app thus generating an income to keep the product going and potentially enable it to be used in other communities around Victoria.
