Community Bowls

We will provide new opportunities for all people to be active and involved in a social and fun activity within our local community club / facility. We believe bowls can enhance the health and wellbeing of people who may feel isolated and not connected, therefore our ‘Community Bowls’ project will enable all people to be included and welcomed, including: families, schools, disability services, local children through targeted holiday programs, mothers groups, retirees looking for an alternative activity, local businesses seeking team building activities and local community organisations wanting to engage in affordable activities.

Our project will provide a safe and friendly environment for all people to come together through our community bowls program that will facilitate both social and active engagement which enhances all the community. We will provide a safe and welcoming place to build lasting friendships that better connects the local community.

We will provide professional coaching that will enable all people to play and be better equipped, which makes the game so much more fun to play, while improving people's skills, physical activity and social contentedness.
