Community Arts Hall

St Raphael's has a substantial sized school hall which can be improved for school and community wide events such as musicals, theatre, dancing and other entertainment events. The hall is situated in a growing part of Melbourne in Preston, the lack of event spaces for the arts is a growing problem due to the lack of suitable buildings. St Raphael's is willing to make the hall available for the wider community after funding to the site's security, stage, sound systems and lighting.

The local Preston area has a vibrant arts community but is lacking suitably sized spaces for musical, dance and cultural events. It is proposed to install a new stage within the current hall along with backstage fly system and dressing rooms.
With technical facilities for audio visual services, PA system, microphones and free parking (onsite car park & off street parking) and close & convenient access to various modes of public transport. Accessibility and amenities for people with a disability is currently in place.
