This project will deliver an accessible, vibrant indoor playground, cafe and education space where children can play in a safe environment all year round. Parents and carers can supervise their children while building strong community connection and find support around the cafe. Families can join our existing nutritious community lunch (Monday - Thursday) or attend a variety of family support and training services helping the well-being of people and assisting our community to grow stronger.

Darebin is a growing, vibrant and diverse community. The High Street precinct is expected to experience approximately 50% growth in the 0-64 in this area, with additional growth radiating out across the community. There is a current and future need for safe, non-weather dependent play spaces where children can play together, and where parents and caregivers can meet and enrich the diverse fabric of the community that is not based around fast food or pubs/clubs.
This not-for-profit community space will provide the opportunity for parenting and family support delivery programmes, activities to strengthen existing and new families to the area.

A welcome update: Support available for people without email or mobile number
Pick My Project is a pilot program and your feedback continues to help us design the very best experience for all Victorians. Therefore, we've made some changes so that Victorians who don't have an email address will be able to vote by phone.
If there’s anyone you know who wants to vote for your project idea but they don’t have an email or mobile, ask them to call us on 1800 797 818 and our team will help them create an account and complete their vote.
They’ll need to have selected their local community and picked their three favourite project ideas in that local community before they call us, as we’ll need this to be able to help.
