We want to build a playground on open ground between Creeds Farm Living and Learning Centre, the community garden and the Aurora Café. It’s across the street from a primary school and a childcare centre. There is currently no playground equipment here. The playground would be focused on pre-school and early primary school aged children and it won't be fenced, so it will be accessible to the whole community 365 days a year.

There are many families with young children in the area and having a playground at this site would help meet children’s needs for play and physical activity. This would benefit both their health and social development. Creeds Farm does not have playground equipment. A playground would be a resource that shows that Creeds Farm is a child welcoming place.
Who will benefit :
• Children using the area out of school times
• Siblings of children attending the school and childcare centre
• Children and families using the café
• Children and families participating in activities at Creeds Farm

Yes would be an excellent addition to the needs of this community space and would draw more families to participate in the community activities at this excellent facility. Parents of the community Garden can participate while the children play in full view. Diverse Groups from the Subcontinent Middle East etc. meet here which would make community participation more attractive and enjoyable for all who live locally.

A playground is a much needed area at Creed's Farm. It will support the physical and emotional needs of children in an outdoor play environment. Many groups, such as Playgroups, need this outdoor space in order for children and families to learn and gather as a community. The indoor space at Creed's Farm encourages families to connect with each other, but they need an outdoor play space in order to continue those connections for children and families in a healthy outdoor environment. "Happy, healthy children play outdoors. Outdoors children can run about and have a sense of freedom which otherwise they would not experience indoors" - marghanita.com

YES I would love to see a play ground installed at this site for the little ones, will be beneficial as this is a very regular meeting spot for the local school and kindergarten parents and the wider community, will keep the children busy and happy.
