We will be providing a health and nutrition program that focuses on finding creative ways to produce balanced, nutritional meals for low income families. The program encompasses food education, shopping guides, recipe books and cooking classes that are open to anyone who has overcome an adverse family situation and are now looking to rebuild their confidence in a safe and secure environment. Our chef will provide a step by step, hands on guide on how to prepare fresh produce and create meal plans that will feed the family for the week and for generations to come.
In conjunction with Woman's Housing, our free fortnightly program will run over a twelve month period and is available to all inner west families who have a limited food budget. Our team will oversee the nutritional program and educate families on the dietary benefits of eating healthy and teach them how to successfully produce a home cooked meal. With an open door policy and a fee free program that encourages the community to cook and eat together. Opening up friendships and networking for the mums, dads and their kids in their local environment.
