The children of Cheltenham East Primary school and surrounding community deserve a decent oval to play sports on and promote healthy living. Their cricket net area is in disrepair and poses safety risks and their goals also require redoing. Outside activities for the children in safe environments are vital.

The local community access this oval daily, afterhours, and on weekends, including the children from local kindergartens. Local football and cricket clubs have also requested information on using it for their clubs but the grounds condition has led to this not being able to occur. The school could also offer it to local soccer clubs which are becoming more popular in the area and other sporting and community groups.

The kids of Cheltenham East Primary School LOVE being active. Having these facilities upgraded would mean a lot to the entire school community and would ensure that our kids continue to love spending time outside and playing sports. The school and community would greatly benefit from these works being done :)
