Celebrate, Create, Elate!

We are a small, disparate community, living on an extraordinary peninsula between the ocean and the inlet. We have no community events to bring us together, and nothing that celebrates our unique environment. The Four Celebrations would take place in each season, with a different location focus. eg Summer, The Beach with activities such as evening local shipwreck storytelling, responsible Pipi adventure with a Ranger etc. The activities will be presented for all of the community, and varied so that there will be something for all ages, abilities and social diversity.

We have no events or gathering spaces. But we have an amazing natural environment all around us. People in the community often live in isolation because of this. We look for a way to bring people together, in unique spaces to participate in simple and engaging activities that will break down barriers between people, and bring something fresh and new to our little community. We also have a beautiful, but fragile environment that can be celebrated in a sustainable way. These Celebrations give us the opportunity to educate both the local community and visitors in an informal didactic way.
