The Casterton community has a large calendar of events throughout the year, with most group hiring spectator seating. This 'bank' of spectator seating will allow groups to save much needed funds by not having to hire seating for their individual events - such as the Casterton Kelpie Association , Casterton P&A Society, Casterton Motorcycle Club, Casterton Sandford Football Netball Club, Sandford Bush Music Festival and others.
This 'bank' of spectator seating would allow community groups to invest in other infrastructure needs, reduce membership costs for families and increase goodwill within the community.

Great idea, so often we have minimal seating for events in town and around the area and this reduces the opportunity for people to stop for a while and watch events. It would really increase participation especially for those unable to stand for long periods.
