Carolyn Theatre Upgrade

The theatre has what is called a Bio Box from where sound, lights and projection are operated. It sits above the audience at the back of the auditorium. Access to the Bio Box is via a ladder next to the last row of audience seating. A rear entrance to the Bio Box will reduce the risk of falling from the ladder and comply with OH&S issues identified by committee. The project will provide a safe means of accessing the Bio Box in the Carolyn Theatre enabling all member volunteers to assist with lighting and sound during theatre productions.

Safe access to the Bio Box will enable all volunteers to operate the lighting, and sound. The Carolyn Theatre in Cororooke has provided a great space for community entertainment for over 8 years. With theatre productions by local Colac Players and Ants Pantz as well as touring national and international artists providing great entertainment. Our community is very fortunate to enjoy the luxury of quality theatre in its small rural town. Red Rock Regional Theatre and Gallery plan to continue providing the community with a quality arts space for years to come in a safe environment for patrons and volunteers.
