Bundoora Scout Hall Upgrade

The Bundoora scout hall is a well-used and well-known building that is used by the wider community for various activities. However it has been a long time since it had any proper maintenance.

We would like to implement a commercial upgrade that will allow the hall to be safer for the children who use it, and welcoming for new members.

This project would include a new security fence, container storage - for secure and rain-free storage of camp equipment - renovating the kitchen and bathroom facilities (including gender-neutral amenities), fixing the roof, guttering and windows.

Bundoora scout hall is a well-used public building in Bundoora. Besides the Scout, Cubs and Joeys groups, it’s also used by the local Samoan Church group, yoga and calisthenics classes, and various craft groups. The envisioned renovations will upgrade the facilities within the building for all these groups, and will also beautify the outside, making the façade more welcoming, and making the hall more attractive to any other groups who may want to make use of the facilities.

The hall is a valuable and well-liked building, and we believe we can make it even more useful to the community.
