The Salvation Army owned property will involve the whole Horsham and surrounding community that have interest in food production. The project will include work for the dole, the recently opened Kalkee Road Children's Hub, school painting days, Horsham Urban Landcare, and a monthly vegetable swap, once we have permanent shelter onsite.

Skills sharing and community gatherings increase well-being and connectivity of the wider community. Designing the area to be fully accessible for people of all abilities will also benefit the community.
