We have a vision for our school. It's inspired by the incredible community we're so fortunate to have around us - students, families, staff, neighbours and friends and.... we want EVERYONE to enjoy our grounds! We have space and trees which is a great start but we yearn for adventure, to challenge ourselves but also provide inclusive, quiet interesting places to meet, play and ponder. There are many elements of our vision as you can see, and we are asking for your support to help us build our adventure playgrounds.
EPS runs along the Elwood canal path next to Brighton North Kinder. Many use this path as a thoroughfare and drop in on the way past. EPS relies on community fundraising initiatives for grounds improvements. Our Parents Association do an incredible job but this project will take us 5 years+ to complete on our own. Community housing close by, and a demographic saturated with young families means EPS is an often frequented and enjoyed location. Our community need is replacement of 20 year old play equipment. This is a major element of our vision which we hope you will support.

This project represents an opportunity to provide an environment that nurtures and promotes physically active & creative children, not only of those who attend EPS, however, all children of the local community. A wonderful initiative.

This is a much needed and will be a much loved project. Let's remember that this project will not only benefit current students but future students for many years. Also Elsternwick PS's open gate policy means that not only Elsternwick PS students will enjoy this great upgrade but it will be there for all the local kids on weekends and school holidays too.

Heavy development pressure with increased density particularly with redevelopment of the old public housing site into public /private housing with increased densities. Also the rezoned land opposite on Nepean Hwy to much higher densities makes this a valuable project not just for the school but the community
