The isolation and lack of contact of Victorian mature aged people in metropolitan areas, need a freely available connection with other like minded men and women. This idea delivers a face-to-face collective facilitated online using video conferencing connecting up to 15 people.
Collectives come together online to discuss topical issues, share past life adventures and important experiences daily via a facilitated program.
The collective offers aged men or women the opportunity to share, laugh and experience increased self-worth and wellbeing. The program is dementia-friendly and access is via Tablets or Laptops for visual and verbal communication.

These unique collectives offer a service that enables individuals to be in the comfort of their own home, aged care or community facility, to freely talk about a diverse range of structured topics and conversations. With today’s technology and motivated facilitators, the needs of the aged, and those with mental/physical illness will be supported.
Being part of a community has been well documented by university and medical studies as a way we increase our self esteem and extend life expectancy. This program meets the needs of those not easily mobile and can be extended to reach rural/remote areas.

Low cost way to expand consciousness and extend contact sphere of the elder community. I can see only positives in this.
