The MVMM has developed over the 10 years since its opening, established originally to display vintage machinery. The museum evolved mainly due to the commitment and knowledge of its members and there willingness to share that knowledge with the community.
The funding will assist our museum to enhance our entrance, to make it more approachable and welcoming, its a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy.
This also enhances the farming and mining display, the Fire Tower and Fire Station Display.
Expanding Print area for members and the community to use the machinery, learn how it works, why and to create.

For 2018 the MVMM has 134 financial members. Membership cost $30 per person. Every Saturday members are welcome to attend the museum to assist with projects and activities, they are provided with lunch st no charge. Friendship
Members have access to all facilities and support and encourage visitors to learn or "have a go" in these facilities. In the Wool Shed, you can learn to spin wool, in the Print Shop, use the printer, The Low down pump.
The Museum is open to the community and tourists every Wednesdays and Saturdays Free of Charge. Sundays soon or other days request.

Come and look over the Thompson Foundry Display with Engineering Drawings dating back to the 1800's, these were rescued from a skip which was on its way to landfill.
