Brim's On the Green project will see the installation of a synthetic bowling green at the Brim Memorial Bowling Club. The new synthetic green will replace the sole grass green located in Brim. The synthetic green will be accessible all year round and provide a low maintenance facility for members and visitors. The project is anticipated to rejuvenate the club by attracting new members and provide an opportunity to hold additional events and open the clubs facilities to visitors to the town. Signage will also be installed encouraging use by visitors and creating fun activities for all age groups.

Members of the Brim Memorial Bowling Club are aging and the current green takes enormous preparation and upkeep. The synthetic green will enable bowls to be played all year round. The project will see health benefits for the community by providing suitable recreational facilities and more opportunities for events to be held locally. Signage will be installed to ensure tourists visiting the popular Brim Silo Art are aware of the free facilities available. This model of rejuvenating a small sporting club could encourage other recreational clubs to welcome visitors in the region and ensure facilities are well utilised.

Brim is a small vibrant community with a flow of visitors staying there due to the Art Silo trail It is important to offer a sporting activity for locals to keep fit and socialise The pub has closed so this project is vital to Vrim to stay connectedTravellers get the chance to join in with the locals and stay fit too

seriously needed as the grass green is very difficult to maintain in a suitable state to play on. A brilliant little club with a lot of community pride
